Emilio Turani is now Managing Director for Italy, South Eastern Europe, Turkey and Greece branches of Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS) - a pioneer and leading provider of disruptive cloud-based security, compliance and IT solutions - after leading the opening and development of Qualys' Italian country since 2015. He has more than 20 years of experience gained in the ICT Security sector, where he held strategic roles and consolidated his technical and commercial skills in important companies of the sector. Before joining Qualys, he was Regional Director of Intel Security, while from 2001 to the end of 2013 he was engaged in Stonesoft, initially as Sales Manager, then as Country Manager for Italy, coordinating and supporting the sales team in the expansion of customers and partners in Switzerland, Greece and Turkey. Among his previous experiences, Turani has also worked in major multinational companies in the TLC sector, such as Motorola. Turani has an in-depth knowledge of the most current go-to-market models, developing a proactive approach aimed at solution selling and in line with the most heterogeneous market dynamics. He has also consolidated over the years important relationships with CISOs of major strategic Italian companies.
