Herve Debar


Hervé Debar is professor and head of the networks department at Télécom SudParis, a school of Institut Mines-Télécom. His research interests include detection and response to attacks, as well as information sharing, vulnerability analysis, risk assessment and security policies. He has participated to and coordinated several collaborative research project on cybersecurity, including FP6 WOMBAT (honeypots and malware analysis), FP7 PANOPTESEC (Critical infrastructure protection) and FP7 NECOMA (Protection of networks against cybertheats). He is currently serving as academic vice-president of the French Systematic cluster cybersecurity hub, elected member at the ECSO partnership board, and co-animator of the ECSO sub-working group 6.3 on cybersecurity, data and economy.
