Stefano Bistarelli is Associate Professor in Computer Science at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Perugia. Director of the UniPG node of the CINI Laboratory of Cybersecurity. Head of the CINI national working group on Distributed Ledger Techonology. Previously researcher at University of Chieti-Pescara, at University of Padua and at the Institute of Informatics and Telematics (IIT) of the CNR (National Research Council) in Pisa. In 2001 he received his PhD in Computer Science that was awarded the Best Thesis in Theoretical Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (awarded respectively by the Italian Chapter of the European Association of Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS) and by the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AI*IA)). He was also visiting researcher at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the University College Cork (UCC); currently Visiting Professor at Paris Dauphine University. His research interests go from cybersecurity to blockchain and artificial intelligence; He published in these topics more than 100 articles presented appeared in international conferences and journals.
