Corrado Giustozzi

Cybersecurity expert at Agenzia per l'Italia Digitale – Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri (Agency for Digital Italy - Presidency of the Council of the Ministers) in charge of the development of the government CERT for the Public Administration (CERT-PA). Member (since 2010) of the Permanent Stakeholders' Group at ENISA (European Union Agency for Network and Information Security). Member (since 2015) of the Board of Directors at Clusit (national italian association of information security professionals).

Since 1985 he has been involved in: information security governance in complex organizations; digital forensics, digital investigations and cybercrime contrast; cyberterrorism and cyberwarfare; homeland security and protection of critical infrastructures; cryptography and digital data protection; digital citizenship, privacy and human rights.

Professor on contract at several italian universities, cybersecurity and cybercrime consultant for italian police forces and law-enforcing agencies, member of several scientific committees, official expert of the Criminal Court of Justice of Rome for computer crimes. He has been member of the National Security Observatory at Ce.Mi.S.S. (italian Military Center for Strategic Studies) and has cooperated with UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime) on international projects for cybercrime and cyberterrorism contrast. He is a member of the Expert Roster of the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) for cybersecurity.

Member of the italian association of science journalists (UGIS), he is a frequent keynote speaker and lecturer at many national conferences, as well as being often featured in national radio and television programmes. He authored four books and more than 1.000 articles.

He is a member of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association, USA) and Computer Society of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, USA), member honoris causa of italian chapter of CSA (Cloud Security Alliance), and has been appointed Senior Member of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery, USA).

Besides cybersecurity Corrado has strong interests in photography, electronic music, ludolinguistics and mind games.
