Roberto Setola is a full professor at the University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome, where he also directs the master's programs in Homeland Security and Cyber Security Management. He serves as an expert advisor to the Italian Prime Minister's Office on critical infrastructure and as a scientific advisor to the Italian Navy.
Setola currently coordinates the DRIVERS project on emerging risks and the ICS project on cybersecurity for industrial equipment, both funded by INAIL. He also leads the PACY (Pro-Active Cybersecurity) grant, funded by Google.org, aimed at improving cybersecurity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Professor Setola has authored nine books in English and over 300 scientific publications. He is also the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Critical Infrastructure Protection, published by Elsevier.
