Since co-founding Trend Micro in 1988, Eva Chen has played a central role in shaping the company into one of the world’s leading innovators in Internet content security. Before becoming CEO in late 2004, Eva served as executive vice president from 1988 to 1996 and as CTO from 1996 to 2004. During her tenure, she led the development of a series of industry firsts, from pioneering unique security products to transformative security management strategies that helped establish Trend as a global security leader. Eva holds dual master’s degrees in business administration and management information systems from the University of Texas. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Chen Chi University in Taipei.
