Head of Operations and Situational Awareness, European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), Belgium
Stefano De Crescenzo is Head of the Operational and Situational Awareness Unit at the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), where he leads the Agency’s activities related to incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis services.
Prior to this role, he served as Deputy Head of Sector at the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union (GSC), overseeing corporate network security and threat prevention services. Before joining the EU institutions, he worked in the private sector, holding various roles within security and trust organizations and Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) operations, with a focus on product vulnerability management, malware detection, and integrity assurance.
He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Telecommunication Engineering, an Executive Master of Business Administration, and several internationally recognized cybersecurity and privacy certifications, including CCIE Security, CISSP, CISM, CIPP/E, and CIPM.
