Director General, National Cyber Security Centre, Finland
Dr. Anssi Kärkkäinen is a cybersecurity executive with over 20 years of experience across technical, operational, and strategic cybersecurity roles in both the public and private sectors. He has extensive experience in strategy development, organizational leadership, and building high-performing expert teams.
Before assuming his current role as Director General of the National Cyber Security Centre Finland, Dr. Kärkkäinen was engaged in cybersecurity business development in the private sector and served in multiple cyber defence and C4 roles within the Finnish Defence Forces.
Dr. Kärkkäinen holds a Doctor of Science (Technology) degree and a Master of Science (Engineering) degree, and is a General Staff officer.
