Barbara Gasperini is a freelance journalist, blogger, and author. She currently contributes to Green & Blue and Italian Tech magazines, part of the La Repubblica Group, covering technology and sustainability. She also hosts a weekly live interview format for La Repubblica TV online and is a presenter of innovation and emerging technologies on various TV programs and podcasts.
Gasperini has worked with national publications such as Corriere Innovazione and StartupItalia and was the editorial director of the economics and innovation magazine The New's Room. She also writes for Innovation-Nation, focusing on Italian technology and tech transfer.
She was a contributor to the RAIUNO program "CODICE," which explores exponential technologies and digital disruption. In 2018, she produced the documentary Lo Stato Social, examining Italy's elections through social media.
During the 2020 lockdown, Gasperini launched her podcast SNAMCAST, which won Forbes Italia's award for best Italian podcast on environmental sustainability and technology.
