Lorenzo R. Mazzei

CEO, Secure Future Group

After earning his degree in computer science, Mazzei gained extensive experience at a major consulting company and ISP. He founded four companies: one of the first managed services firms for patch and vulnerability management (sold), one of Italy’s first security services and consulting companies (sold), a biometric security firm, and a company that developed an AI FinTech algorithm. He has also invested in other ventures and served on advisory boards (e.g., Security Matters, Hamsa), while collaborating with the Primo Ventures fund and sitting on the boards of two startups.

He has held senior roles leading IT security practices and strategies for global multinationals, including Bip Consulting, EY, IBM, BDO, and Accenture, managing projects across EMEA and the Middle East. He later joined Lutech Group, where he headed the Cybersecurity unit and strategic investments, contributing to its growth and successful exit.

Mazzei is currently CEO of Secure Future Group, an innovative company in cyber risk quantification, and Board Director of Hamsa.ID, a pioneer in digital identity through vein recognition. He is also a board member of the Canova Club and actively involved in the Guido Carli Association.
