Paolo Frizzi is the Founder of Libraesva and CEO of LibraCyber, with over 20 years in the IT security industry. After studying mechanical engineering in Milan, he found his passion in computer science and founded Libra to provide email and connectivity solutions in Italy. As spam and email threats grew, he built Libra’s email security virtual appliance, writing the first lines of code himself.
In 2013, Frizzi spun out Libraesva to focus purely on email security, establishing its headquarters in Lecco and growing it into an award-winning company trusted by leading brands worldwide. His vision has driven product innovation, from an AI-powered adaptive trust engine that detects anomalies to counter business email compromise, impersonation and phishing, to zero-day sandbox technology and multi-layered URL analysis.
That vision now extends to LibraCyber, the European cybersecurity company created through the merger of Libraesva, Cyber Guru and Mantra. The company brings together email security, security awareness training and human risk management, with a focus on strengthening digital sovereignty in Europe.
