Since 2024, Catherine has been the Deputy Director of Standardization at the CEN-CENELEC Management Centre in Brussels, leading the Standards Development department. She ensures the timely delivery of CEN and CENELEC standardization projects across various sectors. Previously, she headed the Energy and Living department (2018–2023), where she drove European standardization strategies in energy, household appliances, and healthcare. With a career in standardization that began in 2006, focusing on smart technologies and electrotechnology, Catherine brings a wealth of expertise. She holds a Master’s in Economics and Finance from the University of Brussels (Belgium) and an Advanced Master’s in Applied Economics and Econometrics from the University of Leuven (Belgium).
