Mattia Fantinati

Mattia Fantinati is an Italian former Member of Parliament and Undersecretary of State for Public Administration, specialized in digital transformation and innovation management. He is President of IGF Italy and a member of the UN Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG), advising the Secretary-General on Internet Governance. As Special Advisor to the Minister for Innovation, he promoted initiatives like the Contract for the Web and Internet Bill of Rights. He has represented Italy in UN, OECD, and EU digital policy forums, and speaks regularly at leading events such as ITU, WSIS, and Cybertech. An engineer by training, he studied at Bocconi, LSE, and Manchester Metropolitan University.
