Investment Manager, Planven
As Investment Manager at Planven, I am responsible for investment proposals and portfolio management. We are a VC fund with $320M+ AUM investing in B2B software with a focus on cybersecurity across Europe and Israel. We typically deploy initial entry tickets of $10-15M in Series A/B+ companies and help them to scale globally. We were the first institutional investor and still the largest shareholder until exit in Nozomi Networks ($1B acquisition), and invested in Seraphic and BlueVoyant. Besides my active role on investments and the close work with the portfolio at Board level, I work closely with ECSO (European Cyber Security Organisation) and I built Planven’s current CISO Advisory Board, onboarding ~10 CISOs from EU multinational companies (such as Italgs, Logitech and MSC). Before joining Planven, I was a strategy consultant at Bain & Company, where I worked with C-level executives from multinational companies on growth strategy, value creation plan and joint ventures projects, mostly in Digital, Retail, Consumer Goods and A&D. In terms of education, I hold an MBA from SDA Bocconi and LBS and a Master’s degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Pavia, with research experience at the ENS in Paris, Harvard Medical School and Cambridge University.
