Walter Ruffinoni has been Chairman of DGS S.p.A. since 2026, following a long career in senior leadership positions at major IT services companies in Italy and internationally. He holds a degree in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an MBA from SDA Bocconi, and has furthered his education through executive programs at Harvard Business School and London Business School. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions at some of the industry’s leading companies, including Oracle, where he served as Vice President Consulting Western Continental Europe, and Siebel Systems, where he was Vice President Professional Services EMEA. At NTT DATA, he led the company’s operations in Italy for eleven years as Chief Executive Officer, before serving as CEO at European level for two years. Alongside his role as Chairman of DGS, he currently holds several leadership and strategic advisory positions, including General Manager of POLI.Design, Chairman of ELIS Innovation Hub, and Non-Executive Director of Getronics. He is the author of Il Codice del Futuro (Marsilio, 2017), Italia 5.0 (Mondadori, 2020), and L’Azienda Gentile (Mondadori, 2023).
