Gabriella is a cybersecurity leader with a strong background in critical software engineering and system dependability. She is passionate about protecting complex environments, with a focus on critical infrastructures, cloud and network security, and airport and maritime systems. She currently leads Cybersecurity for Industrials at Accenture, supporting clients throughout their cybersecurity journey—from strategy and design to operations. Prior to joining Accenture in 2016, Gabriella worked in the Software Engineering division at Leonardo, where she specialized in dependability and security for air traffic control systems. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering (magna cum laude) and a Ph.D. in Information and Automation Engineering from University of Naples Federico II, as well as an MBA from Bologna Business School. Gabriella is the author of a book and more than 50 publications in the fields of security and system dependability. She is deeply committed to fostering inclusion and diversity, with a strong focus on advancing female leadership. An avid reader, passionate runner, and aspiring Ironman, she brings energy and determination to both her professional and personal pursuits.
