Brig. Gen. (ret.) Doron Tamir

General Doron Tamir (ret.) is a seasoned security and intelligence professional with decades of experience in leading technology oriented organizations in the governmental and private sectors.

General Tamir is Co-Founder and Chairman of Cyber Security Group (CSG), a leading provider of national-level Cyber solutions and services to governments and large corporations around the world (www.CyberSecGrp.com). CSG also operates cyber training centers around the world, including Cyber Academy Italia in cooperation with Gruppo Daman in Rome (www.CyberAcademyItalia.it).

General Tamir was a founding member of the Israeli National Cyber Bureau (INCB) in the Prime Minister Office, where he served as the Senior Director of the Security Sector, and also led the establihsment of the Israeli national cyber security operations center. General Tamir also served as Director of International Cooperation at the INCB, and laid the foundation for cooperation with the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), as well as with other organizations.

Prior to the INCB, General Tamir was Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Ness Technologies, Founder and Managing Director at Corner Shot, and Strategic Consultant to the Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI) and involved in major projects in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Formerly, and following a long career in the Israeli Intelligence Corps, General Tamir served as the Chief Intelligence Officer in the Israeli military. As the Commander of the Intelligence Corps, General Tamir commanded numerous military units in all aspects of intelligence, from signal, visual, and human intelligence, through technology and cyber, to combat and special operations.
