Kate is a Chief Digital and information officer working at the intersection of defence, engineering and transformation. A former Royal Navy Engineering Officer, she now operates at executive level within Edgewing, the international Joint Venture delivering the Global Combat Air Programme. Her career has focused on turning complex technology into practical organisational change, spanning secure cloud, AI, digital operating models, engineering and large-scale transformation. Kate holds a MEng in Aerospace Engineering, an MBA in Technology management and innovation and is particularly interested in how leaders can make better decisions about emerging technology without getting lost in the hype.
