Managing Director, Cyber & Security Solutions Division, Leonardo, Italy
Andrea Campora was appointed Managing Director of Leonardo's Cyber & Security Solutions Division on September 1, 2023. His mission is to drive growth and position Leonardo as a leading European player in trusted cybersecurity and AI-driven data valorization for defense, space, and strategic sectors. The division focuses on delivering innovative, secure-by-design solutions to provide information advantage across defense and civilian domains.
Campora has served Leonardo for over 20 years in roles like SVP of Cybersecurity & ICT and Sales and Marketing Director. He also held leadership roles at Dematic and Sopra Steria. Campora is Vice President of Confindustria Genova and sits on the boards of Leonardo UK Limited, Polo Strategico Nazionale, and Fondazione Ansaldo. A founding member of the European Cyber Security Organization, he holds a Physics degree from the University of Genoa and has completed executive programs at Columbia University and INSEAD.
Andrea has been among the initiators of ECSO (European Cyber Security Organization), serving since 2016 as Director of ECSO Board. He holds a Physics degree, with specialization in Electronics and Solid State, from the University of Genoa and has followed Executive Leadership Programs at the Columbia University of NYC and Instead, Paris.
