Director General, National Cyber Security Authority (AKSK), Albania
Bledar Kazia has served as the Director General of the National Cyber Security Authority (AKSK), as well as the National Cybersecurity Coordinator, since April 2026, where he leads the strategic oversight of national cyber resilience and coordinates defense initiatives across all sectors.
Kazia’s professional trajectory is marked by high-level appointments, including serving as the Chief Technology Officer of the Cyber and Communications Command and as a Senior Advisor to the Minister of Defense, where he played a central role in aligning national security protocols with NATO and EU standards.
Previously, as the CTO of the Electronic and Postal Communications Authority (AKEP), Kazia spearheaded the implementation of secure 5G frameworks and regulatory governance for the telecommunications sector.
Complementing these executive leadership roles, Kazia brings one decade of experience as a lecturer in computer engineering, dedicated to building technical capacity and mentoring future experts.
A frequent representative of Albania at premier global forums such as EU and NATO cyber summits, Kazia continues to shape the integration of emerging technologies with national defense priorities on the international stage.
