Director, Cyber 4.0, Italy
Matteo Lucchetti is Director of Cyber 4.0, Italy’s national Cybersecurity Competence Center, promoted by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. Cyber 4.0 is a public-private partnership aimed at strengthening cybersecurity capabilities and fostering innovation in the private sector and public administration.
From 2016 to 2021, Lucchetti served as Programme Manager at the Council of Europe, where he was responsible for the Global Action on Cybercrime (GLACY+), a global capacity-building initiative supporting criminal justice authorities worldwide in combating cybercrime. Previously, he worked in cybersecurity at the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights in Vienna and in Italy’s financial sector.
