Minister, Ministry of the Economy and Innovation, Lithuania
Edvinas Grikšas has served as Lithuania’s Minister of the Economy and Innovation since September 2025. Previously, he worked in the field of innovation policy development helping shape Lithuania’s strategy in innovation, digitalization, and industrial transformation while also representing the country in several international organizations.
Under Grikšas’ leadership, the Ministry places focus on promoting innovation, attracting investment, supporting startups, strengthening business collaboration, and enhancing Lithuania’s global economic competitiveness.
Grikšas holds a BA in History from Vilnius University, and an MA in Management from Mykolas Romeris University.
