Lorenzo R. Mazzei

After earning his degree in computer science, Mazzei gained extensive experience at a major consulting company and ISP. During this time, he founded four companies: one of the first managed services companies for patch and vulnerability management (sold), one of Italy's first security services companies and a consulting company (sold), a biometric security firm, and a company that developed an AI FinTech algorithm. Mazzei has also invested in other ventures and joined advisory boards (e.g., Security Matters, Hamsa). Additionally, he collaborates with the Primo Ventures fund and serves on the boards of two startups.
Throughout his career, in roles of increasing responsibility, Mazzei has led IT security practice and security strategy projects for major multinationals, including Bip Consulting, EY, IBM, BDO, and Accenture, overseeing projects across the EMEA and Middle East regions. He currently leads the Cybersecurity unit and oversees investments at Lutech Group.
Mazzei is also a board member of the Canova Club, founded in 1978 as a networking platform for the business community and decision-makers, involving prominent figures from economics and finance. He is also involved in the Guido Carli Association.
