Engineering Team Leader, European Union Agency for the Space Program (EUSPA), Italy
Paolo Santoro is an Engineering Team Leader responsible for System and Security Engineering activities under multiple EU Space Program components. Based in the Galileo Security Monitoring Centre located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France, he contributes to the development, commissioning and maintenance of the infrastructure supporting the cybersecurity operations of the center. He holds a master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Santoro has over 15 years’ experience working in the space domain. Before joining EUSPA, he held various engineering positions allowing him to develop a relevant experience in systems design, integration and verification, as well as operation and maintenance. In the last years his focus has shifted towards the implementation of security monitoring systems.
