Allan is the MD of the UK Cyber & Security Division and the Security Director of Leonardo UK. The divisions product portfolio spans cyber, digital & mission critical comms. It's market focus is UK defence & government & critical national infrastructure. Allan has a degree in Business Studies from University of Hertfordshire. His career began in telecoms with Nortel Networks in roles spanning finance & commercial before focusing on IT outsourcing and delivery. Allan joined BAE Systems in 2003 and established their Shared Services IT business unit as well as leading as CIO for UK business units. In 2015 he joined the UK management board of Applied Intelligence (Cyber & Digital) in BAE Systems as their Operations Director. Before taking up the role of MD in Leonardo in April 2021 Allan ran his own consultancy business working with IT leaders to deliver digital opportunities and enterprise agility. He is an avid reader when travelling and enjoys gardening and gaming to relax at home..
